Ganadores Oscar 2012

Acaban de terminar los premios Oscars, y como indicaban todos los pronósticos a sido la película muda francesa "The Artist" la que se ha llevado el Oscar a la mejor película, además destacó al llevarse el galardón al mejor director, y mejor actor, venciendo Michel Hazanavicius a Martin Scorsese, y Jean Dujardin a George Clooney respectivamente. Lo de Hazanivicius no me gustó, pues si bien su trabajo en "The Artist" es notable, creo que Martin Scorsese o Terrence Malick eran quienes merecían el Oscar en aquella categoría por "Hugo" y "The Tree of Life" respectivamente. En fin, Scorsese ya tiene un Oscar y esperemos que Malick sea reconocido en años próximos con sus futuros proyectos. Lo de Dujardin no me parece nada de mal, su actuación es brillante, pero tampoco me hubiera molestado que ganara George Clooney, cuya actuación en "The Descendants" me llegó mas que la del francés, pero es muy merecido su premio de todos modos. Woody Allen por "Midnight in Paris" y "The Descendants" vencieron respectivamente en mejor guión original y adaptado. Meryl Streep finalmente venció a Viola Davis en una de las carreras mas reñidas a mejor actriz que se recuerden en los últimos años. Así Streep obtiene su tercer Oscar, segundo como protagónica luego de 29 años desde su anterior victoria. Christopher Plummer y Octavia Spencer se llevaron como ya era sabido el Oscar a mejor actor y actriz de reparto respectivamente. Con todo esto la cinta "The Artist" y "Hugo" quedaron igualadas en cantidad de premios con cinco, siendo la primera la gran ganadora habiendo obtenido mejor película, director, y actor. Es una pena que la verdaderamente mejor película del año como lo es "The Tree of Life" se fuera de vacío, ni siquiera mejor fotografía para el mexicano Emmanuel Lubeski, cuya victoria parecía segura. El premio a la mejor película animada fue merecidamente para "Rango" de Gore Verbinski. En fin, a terminado esta temporada de premios, y aunque una vez mas creo que no se premió a lo verdaderamente extraordinario como es la cinta de Malick, al menos ganó la mejor cinta de todas las otras nominadas.
